Facebook is building a steam clone platform made for Unity games

Hot news!

Another big victory for Unity 3D and for its developer community. Facebook has decided to make a steam-like platform to host and easily distribute Unity games.

What does this mean?

A new market will open where the billions of Facebook users can now purchase and play games made with Unity. Facebook will create exclusive deals, automatic game updates and other great perks. What’s so great about it is that developers have a new platform to distribute their games and apps.

This creates a great opportunity for developers to get in early and take advantage of being an early adopter, which, if done right, developers will get the big Facebook marketing machine to help them boost app downloads, and ultimately generate more revenue.

If you already have a Unity game and would like to be part of the first wave of lucky developers, you have till August 31st 2016 to apply here.

If you don’t have a game yet, there is still time to go full steam on it. Rest assured, you’ve come to the right place, AppsFresh.com has plenty of game tutorials which come with source codes to get you up to speed in no time.
